“Circa Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ first circular event venue. The iconic building has a long history,” says Vincent de Ridder, managing director of Circa Amsterdam.
The geodesic dome structure was designed by American architect Richard Buckminster Fuller and was introduced at the Montreal World Expo in 1967. The dome stood at Schiphol Airport from 1971 to 2003 and served as the national aviation museum. In 2018, the structure was rebuilt at its current location. The location is almost entirely built with recycled materials and is extremely sustainable. This also applies to the entire interior.”
All spaces at Circa Amsterdam are equipped with technical facilities, so they are plug and play. We are highly motivated to make every event a success. Our experienced team takes care of everything involved in an event, so that our clients can focus on the content.

“I love working with a team to organize unforgettable and impactful events. Collaborating with different clients makes our work dynamic and varied. The feeling of satisfaction after a successful event is fantastic and addictive. We set the bar high and want to do a little better every day than we did yesterday.”
“Itis important to be able to exchange ideas with professionals who face the same challenges. The members of the Dutch Venue Association are very open, and we learn a lot from each other. I consider that an important part of our membership. We apply this knowledge in our venues, all with the aim of improving the experience of our clients and guests.”
