Preparation went a little differently

Adobe EMEA Summit at Claus Events The road to the three-day Adobe EMEA Summit at Claus Events in Hoofddorp was anything but standard.

Originally, the request was submitted through an agency in the United Kingdom, but then Adobe decided to work directly with Claus Events. Just a few weeks before the event, an intensive process began in which speed and trust were key.

Clear picture of the possibilities

"With only five weeks to go, we completely rebuilt the program through weekly Teams meetings," says Jelrick van Claus Events. "At the same time, we went through the formal registration process as a supplier in record time. Because a physical tour was no longer possible, we opted for creative solutions: photos of previous setups, digital walkthroughs, and even a live Facetime tour of the rooms. This gave Adobe a clear picture of the possibilities. The decisive factors were the combination of flexibility, accessibility, hotel rooms, plug & play technology, but above all the confidence that Claus Events is more than just a venue."

Tightly organized end result

The collaboration was intensive and personal. Together with Adobe, we delved into the content, assisted in the selection of speakers, and tailored the sessions and breakouts to their objectives. During the event, it became clear how valuable that preparation had been: the technology was ready, the catering was perfect, and the hotel rooms had been arranged. The day before the start, we walked through the rooms with the client once more. The digital preparation was confirmed physically on location! The result: a summit that was tightly organized yet felt like a warm and welcoming event.”

Independent quality criteria

“Our Dutch Venue Association membership gave Adobe the assurance that Claus Events meets independent quality criteria. For an international client, this is a confirmation of reliability and quality. In addition, the DVA network offered valuable knowledge and best practices that we could apply immediately. The membership served as a seal of quality and gave Adobe the confidence that their first EMEA Summit was in good hands.”
