BloemBloem, the creative division of Héman Verhuurservice, believes that successful events start with close collaboration with the customer.
That process starts long before the first flower is placed on the table. This was also the case with the collaboration with Evhands, the team behind the multi-award-winning Dauwpop festival. The challenge? To transform a huge Rhino tent from Firma Brandwacht into a high-profile setting with a relaxed festival atmosphere. The farewell party for the director had to be organized down to the last detail. This was achieved for a client who was not from the event industry. Communication was therefore extremely important during this party.
From the outset, the client wanted to have control over the atmosphere, image, and direction of the event. Their team does not come from the event industry. That is why it was essential to make choices transparent and tangible. Evhands does not work with standard concepts, but that only makes it even more fun.
BloemBloem focused on 3D sketches and live online designs. This allowed the ideas for the layout to be quickly visualized in a single document, which worked fantastically for the client, Evhands, and the construction teams. "Live online sketching in 3D helps to capture knowledge quickly in a single document. This gives all parties clarity and ownership," says Aernout Stroosnijder of BloemBloem.
“We had five trailers full of materials. In addition, we had five florists and ten staff members working on the creation. The result: a festival setting that felt lively yet relaxed in every way. The end result was a setting in which atmosphere, music, and experience came together seamlessly.”
